The bus is a natural choice when travelling in Lofoten. The local Traffic Sector offers bus services all over Lofoten. In addition to the rich offer of local routes there exist bus services witch connect Lofoten with the rest of Norway. |

The airline company Widerøe flies to Lofoten. The airports in Røst, Leknes and Svolvær have airplane connections to Bodø and Evenes, which have transfers to the rest of the world. |

The Coastal Ship docks daily in Stamsund and Svolvær, heading both north and south along its route. |

If you travel by car, you can use the car ferries to/from Fiskebøl, Svolvær and Moskenes. |

High-speed boats are also an alternative. Lofoten has connections between Svolvær and Narvik/Bodø. |
